These Terms govern your purchase and use of Limpido by Zbelthas (the "Software"). By purchasing or installing Limpido, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Software

Limpido is a desktop application that provides two related video-viewing surfaces in one installer: (a) a distraction-free companion for major video-hosting websites you already use, and (b) a built-in IPTV player. The Software runs locally on your device; features such as license verification and updates communicate with our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.

1.1 IPTV — player only, not a content provider

The IPTV module is a player. You bring your own M3U playlist URL, local M3U file, or Xtream Codes account credentials from a third-party provider you have obtained independently of Limpido. We do not host, distribute, proxy, mirror, cache, or resell any third-party stream, channel, programme, or playlist; we do not select or endorse any IPTV provider; we do not pre-load default content of any kind. Every fetch goes from your machine to the source you configured.

You are solely responsible for the legality, licensing status, and accuracy of any playlist, stream, or credential you load into the Software in your jurisdiction. Using the Software with content for which you do not hold the necessary rights is a breach of these Terms and may be unlawful where you live. Limpido disclaims all liability for user-supplied IPTV content under sections 9 and 13 below.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on up to:

  • 3 devices under a Lifetime license, or
  • 5 devices under a Pro subscription,

for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, or sell the Software or license keys.
  • Reverse engineer the Software except as permitted by Italian law (L. 633/1941 art. 64-quater — interoperability).
  • Use the Software in a manner that violates applicable law or the terms of service of any third-party website you use it on.

3. Fees and subscriptions

  • Lifetime: one-time payment in EUR; includes all updates within major version 1.x.
  • Pro monthly: recurring monthly payment; renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Pro yearly: recurring annual payment; renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Taxes: prices are shown inclusive of EU VAT via OSS where applicable.
  • Payment processor: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never handle card data directly.

4. Right of withdrawal

Under Italian law (D.lgs. 206/2005 art. 52), you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, this right is waived if you give explicit consent and acknowledge that the right is forfeited upon delivery (art. 59 lett. o). At checkout you will see a checkbox:

I understand that my license is delivered immediately and I explicitly waive my 14-day right of withdrawal per D.lgs. 206/2005 art. 59(o).

If you do not tick this box, you retain your 14-day right to a full refund. Our commercial refund policy (beyond the legal minimum) is described in our Refund Policy.

5. Updates

We deliver updates automatically over signed channels. You may defer an update but not indefinitely suppress security-critical fixes. We may stop supporting older versions after 12 months.

6. Kill-switch

The Software includes a remotely-activated kill-switch that may disable specific features (for example, in response to a legal notice). This does not disable the Software itself, and core features remain available.

7. Revocation

We may revoke a license if: credential sharing is detected beyond the device cap; payment is reversed or disputed; the license was obtained by fraud; or you materially breach these Terms.

8. Data processing

See our Privacy Policy for details on data processing.

9. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence or personal injury.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The Foro del Consumatore applies for consumer disputes per D.lgs. 206/2005 art. 66-bis. For non-consumer matters, exclusive venue is the court of Roma.
